pH Reducer (Bulk Container - 25 kg) sometimes referred to as pH Minus or Dry Acid, is ideal to reduce the alkalinity of pool and hot tub water, lowering the pH. Too high pH level can create problems such as cloudy water, stinging eyes, ineffective chlorination, clogging of filters and scaling of pool or hot tub structure. To ensure a safe use of your pool or hot tub, maintain a free chlorine level of between 1.5 - 3 ppm for pools or 3 - 5 ppm for hot tubs and a pH level of between 7.2 and 7.6. The ideal pH level is 7.4.

Instructions for use1. Test to check the chemical balance. 2. To reduce the pH add: 10 grams per 1,000 litres (220 gallons); 50 grams per 5,000 litres (1,100 gallons); 100 grams per 10,000 litres (2,200 gallons); 600 grams per 60,000 litres (13,200 gallons). 3. Fill a clean plastic bucket with water, add the required dose of pH Reducer and mix well. 4. Add the solution to your pool or hot tub near the water inlet with pump running. 5. Allow the chemicals to circulate for 2 - 3 hours then retest and repeat if necessary. Note: The pH level should be adjusted as soon as the pool or hot tub is filled because tap water pH varies widely from region to region. Once filled, regular checks are necessary as pH is also affected by dilution with fresh water and the addition of chemicals. ALWAYS ADD CHEMICALS TO WATER & NOT WATER TO CHEMICALS. NEVER MIX CHEMICALS.
