Highly effective algicide, the Concentrated Black Spot Algae Killer is specially formulated for treating clinging algae, particularly Black Spot, as well as lysing the algae cells. It may be used in all types of pools. Algae is likely to form when sanitisers levels are too low, pH levels are incorrect or in areas of poor circulation. Sometimes algae can build up a resistance to chlorine and other sanitising products. To ensure safe use of your pool, maintain a free chlorine level of between 1.5 - 3 ppm for pools or 3 - 5 ppm for hot tubs and a pH level of between 7.2 and 7.6. The ideal pH level is 7.4.
