We advise hot tub chlorine mini tablets (20g) for use in acrylic hard shell hot tubs for minimum hassle maintenance. But if you have a vinyl hot tub like many of the popular inflatable spas available, we recommend using hot tub chlorine granules instead. Chlorine granules are fast dissolving, which allows gases to escape prior to replacing the cover, preventing bleaching of the walls above the water line over time.
