| Instructions for use | 1. Turn pool pump off and remove any automatic pool cleaner from the pool, then set the filter on By-pass or re-circulate setting. In neither of these settings are available then remove the filter grids or cartridges from the filter. 2. Leak sealer should be added to the pool at a rate of 1 litre per 60,000 litres (13,198 gallons) / 20 ml per 1,000 litres (220 gallons) of water. A second application may be required in larger pools. There are two methods of application depending on the location of the leak: If the leak is in the pool walls or floor - add the leak sealer directly into the pool water. Where is possible to locate the area of the leak then add the product in this area. Otherwise distribute the product evenly around the pool. If the leak is in the pipework - Add the leak sealer directly into the skimmer. This method should be used if unsure of the location of the leak. 3. Wait 30 minutes and then turn the pump on. Leave the pump running for a minimum of 8 hours. 4. Mark the water level and check after 24 hours. 5. Return the filter settings to normal once the leak sealer has taken effect and resume normal filtration. Swimming may be resumed 24 hours after addition of product. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR USE IN HOT TUBS: It is possible that fine fountain jets may block when Leak Sealer is applied. ALWAYS ADD CHEMICALS TO WATER & NOT WATER TO CHEMICALS. NEVER MIX CHEMICALS. |
