Pool pH Balancing
pH is a measure of how acidic or alkaline your water is. The ideal pH for pools is between 7.2 and 7.6, slightly higher than the midway neutral point on the scale. A well balanced pH enhances bather comfort and protects your pool equipment.

The scale runs from 0 to 14, with 0 being very acidic and 14 being very alkaline. A low pH can result in skin/eye irritation, staining, and etching to surfaces. A high pH can result in scale formation, filter calcification, cloudy water, reduced chlorine effectiveness and dry skin.
