Hot Tub Balancing

Hot Tub Balancing chemicals include pH levels balancers, calcium hardness balancers, and total alkalinity balancers.

Incorrectly balanced hot tub water can cause a variety of problems. Some are hazardous to your health. Some are hazardous to the hot tub itself. And some that just enable other chemicals, such a sanitisers to be more effective.

A poorly balanced pH level can cause skin irritation in either direction. Correctly balanced pH will help chemicals such as chlorine to kill bacteria. Also, high calcium levels make create hard scratchy deposits on the walls of your hot tub, and just like a kettle, can build up inside plumbing and pipe work.

Although some hot tub owners do not like the extra hassle or expense of balancing water correctly, perfectly balanced water will increase your enjoyment in the spa as well as prevent longer term problems.

Please see our range of hot tub balancing chemicals below.
